Leadership Skills, Planning and Time Management: I have written and directed two short films. This involved recruiting and organizing a crew, drawing up a schedule, gaining shooting permits, producing, editing the film, promoting and sending it out to film festivals.
Supervisory and Communication skills: During summer work for Festival Republic I handle a number of different vehicles, including telescopic trucks, and organize and manage a small ground infastructure crew. This requires effective communication, motivational skills and ability to work under constant pressure.

I was also responsible for a editing the \'making of\' featurette for the DVD. This involved booking interviews, liaising with the director and management in order to fulfill their specified criteria and desires, and drawing up a shooting schedule that worked around the main shoot. |
